 Curbside Pick-up
Residents of the Village can put garbage and recycleables out prior to 7:00am Tuesday mornings.
Garbage must be in a Municipal Garbage Bag, available for a $1.00 fee at:

 Waste Disposal Sites
All other residents of the municipality can dispose of garbage at one of the following sites.
 
 BARK LAKE SITE - 12 km West of Barry's Bay - 21956 Highway 60
MONDAY 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Holiday Monday's site will be open until 4:30 p.m.

 Recycling
Two collection systems are used in the Township for recyclable materials.
Within the village of Barry's Bay, recyclable materials are collected at curbside every second Tuesday.
All other residents can deposit recyclables at waste disposal sites.

Materials should be at curbside before 6 am every second Tuesday.

Please keep clean and dry.
Put in blue box or clear uncoloured plastic bags.

Please rinse and put in blue box or clear uncoloured, plastic bag.

  • Newspaper, Flyers [Must be tied or bagged or they will not be picked up]

  • Catalogues

  • Writing, bond. paper
PLASTICS [Blue Box] CARDBOARD
  • #1 plastic bottles - food, beverage, household liquids
  • #2, 3, 5, & 7 jugs - no oil containers
  • #2 plastic bottles - windshield
  • plastic tubs and lids, #2, 4, & 5 clean
  • Boxboard
  • Egg cartons [not Styrofoam]
  • Cardboard, Brown paper bags, Dog and cat Kraft bags
    [ flattened and tied or in a large cardboard container. Kept } separate and tied 24”x24”x8”]
GLASS [Blue Box] NOT RECYCLED AT THIS TIME
  • Clear and coloured Food and beverages only
  • NO drinking glasses, window panes, mirrors, lightbulbs, car lights
  • No milk and juice cartons
